Sorry to pull a lawyer on this but - either you don't know what you're publishing or you're letting a slopmachine hallucinate articles for you that's getting approval from someone. Articles don't just magically appear on a printed page.

maybe this is why people think AI is amazing, because they're not using their brains to figure out how to do things. if you can't figure out how to search a document, maybe having a slopmachine hallucinate an answer at you DOES seem miraculous?

Also there are independent studios that are producing genuinely interesting games without the slopmachine, without the need for top end cards and hyperrealism, that have emotion, creativity and art. We'll be ok

I don't get people pretending to be artists using the slopmachine and trying so hard to convince others that they can actually draw with obvious fake process videos?? like.. if you are doing that effort to trace and pretend, why not try drawing for real lol. Embarrassing.

I mean, if you're gonna write a book at least do it for yourself first. There's zero guarantee it's going to earn any money. So, have FUN WRITING IT.

Entirely agree. I've discussed with (a few) ADs that use it "only as a way to gather documentation" or to "explain their ideas". They replace their *ideas* and *inspiration* with the subscription-locked slopMachine(tm) and then wonder why we're horrified
