The beast's drooling maw gapes open over Maverik's face. He grabs hold of the tusks to keep it from clamping down on him, shouting to someone out of sight. Maverik: A little help here?! A Voice Replies: Alright, already... No need to shout~! The trio of monsters whip their heads upward toward the voice but it is far too late. The largest of the three is shot sidelong through both eye sockets by a beam of golden light and dies choking. Maverik, disgusted, is splashed across the face and neck by its blackened blood.

Resuming the slowpost of travel pics. This was one of the my favorite visits, the Pantheon in Paris. It was awe inspiring to approach it along the long sightline of the street and was enthralled by every inch of detail and craftsmanship.
Picture looking up at the underside of the Pantheon's front overhang porch roof. The columns around the edge stretch up to the sky like carved trees. The underside of the roof is split into multiple carved grids with weaving diamonds and patterns with the middle arched. The top of each column is adorned with a detailed head with flowering and leafy carvings that curve outward and arch. One of the forward entrances of the Pantheon. The tall wall is constructed of intricately carved sandstone with multiple inset carved marble frescos. The columns stretch up the sides of the view and the ceiling has multiple interior arches. The front of the Pantheon's main building roof. The carving depicts multiple people from both sides, left and right, looking towards and revering a central figure standing atop a platform. The inscription underneath reads "Aux Grands Hommes La Patrie Reconnaissante" or "To The Great Men The Grateful Homeland" The Paris Pantheon centered in frame flanked by classical architecture of government and cultural buildings on either side. The dome of the Pantheon stretches into the sky and the roof of the main structure is adorned with a French flag.

Windows 8.1 extremely slowPOST/boot time
Hello. I have Win8.1 on Asus MOBO with 4790K, Samsung SSd and GTX 970 10 years old PC. Problem. Extremely slow boot time or restart time, up to 10+ minutes. Last one I was watching BSOD for about 5 minutes, but Win booted through). A year or a bit more ago I had terrible crash and I remember seen error message something like this (not exactly) "either computer or windows can not find correct path for starting windows". I don't remember what I did to fix it, but it was somehow fixed. The result of this fix was increased boot time, but it was not bad, so I lived with that. a few months back something happened and my boot time shortened, it was almost normal, not fast as brand new, but much better than before. No, after my GPU crapped out (it was 1080) I put my reserve 970, and now boot time increased to extremely slow. I suspect that I need to fix either boot path, check for corrupt files or something along those lines. Once Windows loaded, no issues with performance or anything... Read more

The light seal kit(s) arrived at Finnish Customs three weeks ago, and not until today the Finnish Post finally managed to deliver them to me 🤨😢.
