okay, voor anderen met de smartguard: hoe voer je de koolhydraten in als je een hypo hebt, zonder dat hij gaat bolussen? Want dat wil je natuurlijk niet meteen als je op 2.5 staat. ik heb de smartguard uitgezet en via de pomp 'alle toediening stoppen' gedaan. 1/2 uur later Smartguard weer aangezet

okay, voor anderen met de smartguard: hoe voer je de koolhydraten in als je een hypo hebt, zonder dat hij gaat bolussen? Want dat wil je natuurlijk niet meteen als je op 2.5 staat. ik heb de smartguard uitgezet en via de pomp 'alle toediening stoppen' gedaan. 1/2 uur later Smartguard weer aangezet
With SmartGuard on you can under-bolus a bit when on the meds and then let the SmartGuard handle the “extended” part. Not a perfect solution but it does a decent job. Or do a small “second bolus” later if you know carbs are still coming into your system. (I do that w big pizza dinners, for ex).

Got my replacement pump as this is the 4th pump I've gotten from Medtronic, 3rd on this warranty alone. They really need to fix this crack issue that is a CONSTANT issue. Now to wait the two weeks until it "learns me," and I can use SmartGuard again 🫠

Der Huawei SmartGuard macht drei Phasen und kann das Hausnetz weiter versorgen. Es handelt sich aber nicht um Drehstrom, d.h. mehrphasig angeschlossene Geräte wie das Kochfeld werden wohl nicht einwandfrei funktionieren.

I dunno for your case. In general it’s probably better to under-estimate the amount of insulin you’ll need and adjust upward in future cases (letting SmartGuard fill in the gaps in the meantime) rather than over-bolusing with lows.

Glad you found something you are comfortable eating. I am Type 1 for45 years, use 780G pump and Instinct sensor, and have learned to eat most thinks as long as I plan ahead for the bolus and let Smartguard do its thing. Enjoy your new bakery!

Schwalbe Marathon Winter tires are amazing for the sort of thing in the right photo. Nothing helps for the crap on the left. Not only is it slippery but unyielding so your tires go in directions you're not.

Ik zou vooral wat steviger banden nemen, met meer grip. Niet die standaard dunne, die snel lek gaan. Zelf heb ik deze:

Volume gives ride comfort and absorbs shocks.
