I’m genuinely convinced that the majority of the smugbug side of the fandom just haven’t read Worm. Idk, maybe it’s just me, but I’ve read Worm 3 times and I don’t see a romantic interpretation of their relationship unless I actively try to, and even then it’s only a few scenes.
