A machine cannot feel; it cannot truly know the depth of human emotion, nor can it truly understand where erotic fantasy comes from in the human mind (even if the story is an oddball of a smutfic about a woman falling in love with a table or whatever). Therefore a machine should not write romance.

this probably was the logical end result of planning a radioapple smutfic that puts Alastor in a position of self-inflicted powerlessness (i.e. injury), and has Lucifer both antagonising him, but also relating to him and trying to offer him a regaining of control via letting him power bottom
