Who else has a #Snouty objective? I currently have 25 members in #SnoutClub! But I think there's a LOT MORE out there... Anyone else care to join?

-> Just reply here with a pic of your #Snouty and I'll add you!

Why? It helps us promote and develop the technology!

It's the last #KingSnout ever! 😭

I'm looking forward to what's next in the #snouty objective lens line from ASI and Special Optics. Onwards to bigger and better things!

#SnoutClub Need your help. With immobilized beads on the coverslip and moving snouty (via piezo) the beads translate vertically on the camera, rather than just coming in and out of focus. Feelin dum needing dat guidance.

Thanks for the answers!
Since I have you here, is there any zenodo DOI or any way to cite the SnoutClub?
I would like to cite it in an article, as a proof of the supportive community of SOLS builders.

I can attest that Joe Brzostowski and Rachel Stadler just finished their #snoutscope at the Twinbrook Imaging Facility at the NIH! You should definitely add them to the snoutclub! (I don't know if either of them are on bsky yet though)

See example timelapse: bsky.app/profile/tann...
I'll kick off my bsky profile with a great 3D fluorescence microscopy time-lapse. My buddies Joe Brzostowski and Rachel Stadler (NIH) acquired this on their #snoutscope that I helped them build.

Shown is a fluorescent actin marker in Dictyostelium. Joe and Rachel called this "The Mark of Zorro!"

Dear #snoutclub if you were to upgrade a humble lil guy would you choose a) updating the lens/mirror/lens scanning to pure galvo scanning (GTA scandreas) or b) dynamic zoom lens to enable airr

a) ~6k, better light transmission
b) ~10k, moaar imaging depth

Hi #SnoutClub and microscopy people.
Can you suggest python software for 3D registration?
I want to find the axial shift between two z-stacks
Thanks!!
