#SnowBirding
It's where people care and the water is drinkable.
Yeah, the winters are dark, but snowbirding is an option.

When my parents were snowbirding in Mesa, Arizona we took a trip to the Heart Attack Grill, where I enjoyed their Double Bypass burger. This look substantially more perilous. o.O
did u ever eat a 12x12 from In-N-Out before they stopped making them? it tasted like surviving an animal-style saw trap

And we'd go someplace new and interesting every week! South in the winter, north in the summer, snowbirding all over North America!

To be fair though, anyone still snowbirding in Florida can go fuck themselves.

If youre still snowbirding in FL after the last couple years, you get what you get.

More like cratering their own tourism industry & real estate market. Some will hurt having to sale at a loss, but they should've done years ago. No sympathy for selfish idiots who went down there since 2020. Snowbirding in the US has been a bad idea since 2016. Again, the US is uninvestable.
It shows an amazingly narrow view of society for DeSantis to describe property taxes as money paid to government “for the courtesy of using your own property”

No, they pay for shared services *provided by govt* that homeowners use or otherwise benefit from

Florida weighs ditching property taxes and sticking Canadians with the bill | CBC News
Florida voters are weighing whether to scrap residential property taxes and the state's governor has a solution to that potentially huge revenue loss: tax Canadians more.

Is the “ snowbird group “ taking advice as well as giving it? Many, many Canadians have thoughts on their American “snowbirding” at this time #traitors

I lived in West Palm Beach for awhile and know there’s a huge Canadian snowbird population there. I hope they skip snowbirding this year!

nashville doesn't deserve such a fate but it's really like florida but for young republicans instead of snowbirding/retiring boomer republicans
September 27, 2026 at 6:25 PM
That's the way of things, and time. Although moving doesn't necessarily preclude voting if they're snowbirding.
September 13, 2026 at 12:53 PM
Lol.
Arizona's flat tax is slowly killing us (thanks Ice Cream Doug), and while Phoenix is nicer than I often credit, you'd be an idiot to give up snowbirding.

They're moving because of culture, not money.
They want to be amongst Republicans in Scottsdale, not Dems in Seattle.
Socal has had this.
“they can’t afford to die here”

Bitch if you have 9 figures you can afford to die anywhere. Skill issue.

Designed initially for the quick slingshotting of inordinate headcounts of summertime travellers snowbirding south to Florida, and then returning those same travellers northward bound, the M-1s would be given far lighter passenger duties.

Only halfway on the snowbirding this year?
[ & Congratudolences on whatever is dragging you to DC.]

Snowbirding to Florida is a time-honored tradition for Midwest seniors but it is incredibly gauche to try to undo it for a job. It’s for retirees

The famous snowboarding (snowbirding? :) crow pretty much put to rest the question of whether they play just to amuse themselves. If you've never seen the video, you must. (If the link doesn't work, search for "Crow Skiing Down a Roof")

Who’s ready to play buzzword BINGO?

This is an interesting read. And by interesting, I mean it reads like it came from a CPT (P) snowbirding prior to CGSC. #ArmyAzimuth #Lethality

We don't think about it at all except in our worst nightmares. It's a non-starter for everyone here but a few maple MAGA idiots who've swallowed the Kool-Aid while snowbirding in FLA & AZ.. right before they come running back to Canada in the spring so they don't lose their healthcare.🙄🤷‍♀️

Glad the hummingbirds are “snowbirding” in Florida. Looking forward to seeing them here in Indiana in the spring!

Why oh why did I not plan for snowbirding, what a dummy. Winters are great here and the rest of the year in NY. Darn it! Enjoy your place by the lake.👍

I'm currently "snowbirding" in Colorado until winter. Decided to get my 💉 vaccinations here in a blue state before heading back to Flori-duh for the winter.
Thank you, Walgreen's!
Covid, Flu, RSV, Pneumonia.

lol, just snowbirding and jaunting around here and there.

Is there a word like snowbirding but for changing hemispheres to avoid Summer? Like Interhemispherical-reverse-snowbirding? Because I wish I could do that.
July 20, 2026 at 10:33 PM
And people who deviate from that pattern don’t seem to last very long and they end up going back or just snowbirding
June 9, 2026 at 1:59 AM
BTW, the older folks who are now snowbirding here tend to give side eye to this sort of thing. Don't know what the young and middle aged think about it.
