Whenever people say SocMed is bad for humanity, my addicted ass *DOES* agree when we are talking algorithmic SocMed. Algorithmic SocMed is a hell and it is unfortunately the only thing most people know nowadays.
so if algorithms intentionally prioritize rage and fear content because it's the best for engagement, doesn't that make algorithmic based social media the actual torture nexus?

When an abuser deletes from socmed it is FAR more important to remember their behavior than their name. A name can be changed. People can make new socmed accounts. The behavior does not change. Pay attention to people's actions and listen to your gut.
