Uh…mesterværk! Ja, sku nok have hevet “Singles” ud og taget SOFAD med…men nå…det var vist også bare en illustration ift “That made me…” sådan i tidlig forstand.
“World Violation Tour” var min første DM koncert efter en periode med intens dyrkelse af de 9 albums (og tilhørende maxier)…en fed ung tid😀

Went to a record shop recently and got a CD of Some Great Reward, would've gotten Violator or SOFAD but they didn't have it. Also was on a tight budget so I had to hold back from getting more than one.

Violator, SOFAD, and Ultra have always been a trilogy to me. All completely essential.

Although SoFaD as a whole probably isn’t top 3 DM for me, In Your Room is my favorite.

Siltä löytyy yks DM:n tai oikeastaan melkein kenen vain kovimpia biisejä, eli In Your Room.
Levynä SOFAD on mukavan monipuolinen sillisalaatti, mutta taso on silti aivan hemmetin kova.

Heute vor 31 Jahren (10.01.1993) wurde "In Your Room" von Depeche Mode veröffentlicht. Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslieder der Band, vor allem, wegen des düsteren Albums "Songs of Faith and Devotion".

Arguments could be made for Music for the Masses, Violator, and SOFAD, but I would have to go with what you’ve selected here too

The Alan Wilder influence on Depeche Mode cannot be understated.
At their absolute peak with the four album run of Black Celebration, Music for the Masses, Violator, and SOFAD.
And this album is as dark as they would get.

Kui Depeche'i SOFAD teile istus ja mürarocki mõjud vastu ei hakka, siis istub see ehk ka. Alahinnatud, Eestis suht tundmatu, Floodi produtseeritud, Toni Halliday mitte just päris surelikule kuuluv hääl... See kõik lubab nii mõndagi. 1993.
