Bit of a dull & drizzly weather day here at #SohoDepot - I’m the depot fairy today… the beck & call driver for anything the Shunter wants. I have a trainee driver with me so we’ve had a good walk around & I’ve filled his brain with depot info! #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver

What a difference a day makes! Same job as yesterday but it offered the trainee driver an insight into disruption & driving with low adhesion conditions. B’ham Intl/Rugeley & Walsall were good aside from a little slipping. Then disruption hit for the #CrossCity - ended up with a trip to #SohoDepot

Starting off with Four Oaks & Redditch, followed by taking a #Class350 up to #SohoDepot - here after receiving instructions & beginning the move I noticed one set of points hadn’t been correctly set in line with those instructions. I stopped & informed the Shunter…

Sunday’s shift went a bit skewed. I ended up with cancelled trains, then I did a favour by running 730024 up to #SohoDepot (which the shunter didn’t know was coming!). I parked her next to her newer sister - 730216 & it was nice to see #Class37 37608 #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver
