So I had an urge to make a sorta Modern AU for myself and so rei has a New Life in a new World thats somewhere between Cyberpunk and Solarpunk.
In this life he's much much Fatter and He works as a 'Trainer'
of sorts and occasionally a Bouncer.

Dirty energy is bad on so many levels -- the planet heating us out of the Holocene, obviously -- but also yearly deaths from exhaust, effects of plastic, etc. But also all that and most of it is wasted!

Solarpunk world that's permanently flooded and permanently summer. Clear water layers the ground everywhere you walk, sometimes puddle depth, sometimes shin deep. It's clean, warm, and gently flowing, so the way of life has adapted to the water. People just go barefoot all the time, dressed lightly
