I think I'll go with a quick solidbase.dev expansion in my personal website and force myself to record a video because either way that's what I promised myself I'd be doing in the first place 😅

yeah... so, my website is on SolidStart (for some very biased reasons) - so I guess I'll throw a solidbase.dev

which is kind of inspired in the Astro DX, btw

I think Gatsby nav speed beats Astro because you're comparing Soft-Navigation with Hard-Navigation 🤔

I'll bet SolidStart can match your expectations, but it has less affordances out-of-the-box for content websites (at least until @brendonovich.dev and @jer3m01.com tell you can you use SolidBase)

i don't think i ever announced this but our @solidjs.com hackathon project solidbase.dev now powers docs.solidjs.com!

looks like we didn't test well enough and there's some bugs, so if you'd like to try SolidBase add it to your package.json like this:
"@kobalte/solidbase": "npm:@brendonovich/kobalte__solidbase"

Been building this for a while with @jer3m01.com and dev-rb in the hopes that we see a lot more docs and other content-driven sites built with Start.

We've got the official @solidjs.com docs working with SolidBase now too, just need to finalize the PR.

For #solidhack we've been working on SolidBase, a tool for building Markdown-powered sites with SolidStart.

MDX with @solidjs.com components, syntax highlighting, frontmatter, i18n, themeing - even in existing Start apps!.

Check it out: solidbase.netlify.app
And plz vote for us! hack.solidjs.com

Olihan huikeaa käydä eilen Yzärifesteillä katsomassa Waldo's People, Solid Base ja Daze. 🙌🤩 Ensi vuonna uudestaan! 🙏

TBH it's mostly about aesthetics in my case 😅 Nextra/Fumadocs/Vitepress/Rspress all look awesome and Starlight/SolidBase look better than Docusaurus at least
