Post-Lament Anthropocene: Comprehensive Mirror for Historians — Exostrider

Current research suggests the Exostriders and Sentinels were created with technology from the same civilization.

✦ Exostrider ✦ The Ancient mech slumbering upon the Roya Frostlands Current archives and Royan tales speak of the Exostrider, who descended through the Stridergate buried deep within Lahai-Roi. Down along its trail came Threnodian Aleph-1, and the two clashed in a fierce battle. At last, the Exostrider sealed Aleph-1 within the Stridergate itself. The Exostrider then drove its greatsword into the earth to hold up Lahai-Roi and the Roya Frostlands above. Current research suggests the Exostriders and Sentinels were created with technology from the same civilization. In the distant past, the Roya Frostlands became Solaris's new pole following the first Lament ever recorded, when its once-lush Forests were transformed into an endless ice sheet. When the second recorded Lament struck the Roya Frostlands, Threnodian Aleph-1⎯having arrived alongside the Exostrider⎯unleashed the Void Storm. To counter the devastation caused by the overflow of Voidmatter, the Exostrider shed its own components and transformed them into the Exoswarm, restoring Lahai-Roi's damaged ecology. It also guided the Roya tribe to relocate their settlements in Lahai-Roi, beneath the frozen expanse. ✦ Exostrider's Reactor Drive ✦ The Exostrider's Drive serves as the primary energy source of the Exostrider. The Exostrider removed it and used it as a sun to nourish Lahai-Roi, and then guided the Roya tribe as they relocated from the Frostlands Surface to Lahai-Roi. Deprived of its Drive, the Exostrider entered a dormant state. *Exostrider's Reactor Drive Illuminating Lahai-Roi ✦ Artificial Sun ✦ To counter the threat of the Threnodian, the Spacetrek Collective proposed the "New Solar Project"⎯ a plan to replace the core of the Exostrider's Drive with an artificial sun, return the restored Reactor Drive to the Exostrider's vessel, repair its systems, and awaken it once more. ✦ Exoswarm ✦ The Exostrider scanned records of Lahai-Roi's former fauna and, using its own mechanical parts, proliferated and differentiated them into new forms. These mimetic organisms were created to stabilize and strengthen Lahai-Roi's fragile ecology. The Void Storm triggered by the Threnodian is capable of eroding and even consuming the Exoswarm entirely. Exoswarm showcased in the image: Flora Reindeer, Geospider S4, Mining Drone, Flora Drone, Mining Reindeer, Twin Nova: Collapsar Blade ✦ Heliogyre ✦ The Roya tribe uses the lens "Heliogyre", a relic gifted by the Exostrider, to observe the Exostrider's Drive, calculate its trajectory, predict the onset of Void Storm, and provide critical data for the Spacetrek Collective's New Solar Project. ✦ Soliskin ✦ Among the Exoswarm exists a special lineage known as the Soliskin, beings differentiated from the Exostride's neurons. Soliskin are born with innate knowledge and, upon awakening, journey to the Solisylum to choose their own Shepherd or Sheperdess. Roysan Shepherds and Shepherdesses nurture the Soliskin, ensuring their healthy growth and proper absorption of energy. Once fully matured, the Soliskin are returned to the body of the Exostrider and ████, so that they can help restore the Exostrider's form and ████.
