Came across a decaying birch trunk that hosts a bunch of diverse lifeforms, including a colony of rather HUGE Cladonia #lichen - the tallest ~10 cm! I can't imagine anything by C. coniocraea (except C. somethingelse, of course). The bright orange thing is Trentepohlia aurea algae, I believe

something I’m genuinely waiting for to guess how far removed from the existing series Genesis will be is whether there’s still a Vandham or if they’ll be Van-somethingelse

The whole GNU/Linux ecosystem is full of "normally this would be stored in a directory called %whatever% but I thought %somethingelse% made more sense so my program is hardcoded to use %somethingelse%. So now you have two directories until everyone else realizes I was right."

I don’t believe in marriage., I think it’s a pointless idea. But if I’m in a social setting and Miss Something goes on holiday and comes back as Mrs Somethingelse, i’m not going to spend all day changing her back to Miss Something, simply because of my personal belief.
