After for a few weeks, here is Team Dimensions (plus Marine) in my redesign!

And yeah, I thought it would be cool if Marine was part of the team :p

Sonic The Cat

Back in the SEGA Genesis days, I thought Sonic was a cat, so, why not draw him like a cat?😂

It looks a lot better than my Knuckles one 😂
I might re do that one later :3

At the top left, big words say "Sonic the Hedgehog". At the bottom right, Sonic is there wearing red pants. The background is a monochromatic picture of Sonic set to a low opacity.

design notes in the replies for those curious!!!
sonic the hedgehog depicted in three different poses and sizes. he wears an upgraded version of his usual footwear, referencing the ones he wear in Sonic Adventure 2, and additionally dons a pair of red and white running joggers, yellow-palmed racing gloves, and red goggles.

Redesigned my sonic redesign because it felt like I was trying too hard to make sonic look different from his original design-
That being said, I actually really like how he turned out!! I definitely think my sonic art style is improving quite a bit!!

if you want an AU explanation, he looks like this after 06 got erased & is now with Mephiles in a white void

Winds of Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic design + Shading notes

#sonicthehedgehog #sonicfanart #sonicau #sonicredesign #sth #art
A drawing of Sonic the Hedgehog in a "modern" style, he's smiling while doing his signature finger pose The same drawing of sonic with some parts zoomed in to show shading details, the text to his right reads "WINDS OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG SHADING DETAIL NOTES My ideal SONIC redesign will never be a reinvention of the wheel, but more so, adding threads so the wheel can function better. Shading details are an element that i wanna add to each redesign of mine, for Sonic here i gave his tan parts simple shading, but for the blue i added a bit of hatching, implying the blue is quills and the tan is skin. This detail will carry onto other redesigns with different patterns of hatching depending on if it's furr or scales, etc. Gloves have a line showing shine and have rim lighting on parts of the shading. The soles of the boots have shine but regular shading, while the red of the boots have dark rim lighted shading impliying leather and the folded parts are simple shaded with no shine, to imply the insides of Sonic's boots are made out of a comfy material :]"

Sonic with his right arm extended out into a thumbs up, his left hand resting on his side. He is a duller shade of blue compared to the original games with slightly squashed proportions.
