WIP Wednesday. I finished the yoke colorwork on the Sonrae sweater by Jenn Steingass, using Wool of the Andes sport wool in Sprinkle Heather and Baltic Heather. Now, on to short rows and split for sleeves. I love how these colors both blend and contrast...subtle. #KnitSky

I finished the Sonrae sweater by Jenn Steingass, using Wool of the Andes sport wool in Sprinkle Heather and Baltic Heather. I had to extend the length as I am long in the torso. I also knit cuffs on the sleeves in place of the roll hem. It's washed, blocked and waiting to dry. #KnitSky

Current wip is Sonrae by Jen Steingass. It reminds me of the tails of shooting stars, which in turns reminds me of the film, Don't Look Up, which in turn reminds me that we're all screwed. Looks pretty festive, though. Maybe. 🧶#knitting #climatecrisis #wip

Samen Shawl by Stephen West, in Yarns by Noti.

Cat doodles by Jamie Lomax, transposed onto ordinary sock. The cats were knit in Herd of Cats Meow Melange minis, dyed to match the dyer's cats.

Embellished Catnip Mouse toy, by Robert Matthews. Knit in (leftover) West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece Jacob, stuffed with alpaca roving and organic catnip. Nothing but the best for Bubbles.

Finished the yoke and did a fitting and it was perfect. Now onto the main body of sonrae and I’ve dropped a needle size to maintain gauge. It is coming together beautifully
