El sorraia comparte características con el zebro (color del pelaje, hocico oscuro, raya de mulo). Sin embargo, el hecho de que se trate al zebro como un animal salvaje debilita esta hipótesis. Por otro lado, el color grisáceo de la capa no es tan raro en caballos

Wir brauchen ein System, das nachhaltig wirtschaftende Betriebe stärkt, statt Land Grabbing, Bodendegradation & Umweltschäden zu belohnen. Und das Renaturierung zu einem Wirtschaftszweig macht, besonders für extensive Weidetierhaltung müssen bürokratische Hürden runter und Fördersummen rauf. 2/2

Horses are good where they are meant to be — obviously not Au highlands. Here in Portugal, wild Sorraia horses and tauros cattle are central to rewilding mountainous areas of the country (along with reintroducing lynx and wolves).
