Second record (Sosuminjok) of Chadahye Chagis is out after 4 years. Traditional schooled Sorikkun / Pansori singer and funky band.
This one sounds like the Gorillaz hired in a Pansori singer. <3 1/2

Still on an occasional Korean folk kick. Chudahye Chagis mixes trad sorikkun with psychedelic funk. An offshoot of the very fun SsingSsing. Heosse! is a banger.

professional, another element that I was able to identify was that it was a religious performance. One thing I found out about "Chudaye Chagsis" was that they blended traditional korean music with elements of reggae, jazz, hip-hop, funk, dance, and rock
