Years ago a jewish ma who loves me invited me to break fast with her family after Yom Kippur. It was a revealing experience and profound honour. In a small act of solidarity to jewish friends, we will eat tonight at 7:24. I have made lemon chicken soup, potato salad, and honey cake. 1/

As a person with an interest in prison libraries, I like: "5. Write letters to people in prison and detention, send them books, and/or do jail support and solidarity..."
Also, 2. Because, soup! "2. Make people soup and do not stop inviting them over for soup! Be a reason for living."

idk man, "just following orders" never really seemed like much of a defense for me. like I'd rather eat shoe soup than work for the csam machine, and i do actually lack solidarity with the csam machine workers.

I've been for a look at the protest on O'Connell Street a couple of times, and I don't see any messages in solidarity with homelessness, renters or any similar group. The only non-fuel related messages do not indicate keeping good company. The handwritten one has been there for days...
