Sometimes poems don’t know where to put themselves, such as this one, #Thalidomide. Thank you to the #SouthDownsPoetryFestival, #FestivalofChichester and editor @BarrySmith for giving it a home in #PoetryandAllThatJazz.
A poem about a mother not taking the Thalidomide pills her doctor gives her for morning sickness and thereby saving her child from birth defects.

Really appreciate that the Chichester Observer newspaper family covers poetry. Can’t wait to hear @suerose share her words on 27 May and meet the #BinstedPrize winners on 23 May.
