I was down at Southbourne this morning and it was still warm enough on the sheltered Undercliff when the sun came out for butterflies to be on the wing.
4 CY 1 RA and CY larva & eggs seen.
Not bad for November.

Also had a long laborious look for larva and eggs and some were found.
Will they, like last year be successful and overwinter in the UK again.
We will continue to monitor and only time will tell.
