Not 100% compliance. The Southcom commander resigned over it.

Former SOUTHCOM soldier sent me this alert he received about migrant detention operations at Guantanamo Bay (from the military's mass alert notification system)

Maybe SOUTHCOM was the real CENTCOM all along

“The strikes are so above board that we shitcanned the SOUTHCOM JAG lawyer for raising concerns!”
a lot of words, none of them denying that Hegseth gave an order to kill helpless people who were stranded at sea after he blew up their boats

👀❗️ SOUTHCOM announces the seizure of another vessel: M/T Sophia.

Finally, while we're here, my own strategic priority list would run (most to least):
NORTHCOM
INDOPACOM
EUCOM
SOUTHCOM
CENTCOM
AFRICOM

With a decent chance AFRICOM moves up one over time. SOUTHCOM would be higher if it had more pressing security concerns, but it doesn't. /end

I will note that Trump, SecDef, SouthCom, etc have been posted snuff films for many months now.

Killing for content is a feature of this administration's use of force.

34 people killed in 50 days. Their guilt or innocence unknown, for an alleged crime that doesn't carry a death sentence. That's a lot of death.

what do you mean they're sending more naval assets to Southcom
September 3, 2025 at 10:20 PM
Congrats to new SOUTHCOM commander Lindsey Halligan
They fired a top-level commander, the top of the chain of command but for SecDef and POTUS, because the wanton murder spree on the high seas as it's been conducted so far wasn't enough for them.

Commander, SOUTHCOM; Officer in Charge (OIC) SOUTHCOM Staff Judge Advocate (SJA); SOUTHCOM J3, Chief Joint Fires & Effects (JFE), SOUTHCOM; & their equivalents at either Air Force South &/or Navy South. That’s the chain of command.
If I were a journalist, I would be trying to find the names of people in the chain of command.
The military has now killed 27 people as if they were enemy soldiers in a war zone and not criminal suspects. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/14/u...

What I'm seeing as well. No answer from any SOUTHCOM spokesperson as well, and I've tried everyone I've got.

I'm told people involved in SOUTHCOM planning are scrambling to find lawyers because they are being asked to do stuff...that clearly violated the law.

SOUTHCOM said 3 people were killed in boat strikes on 12/30.

@theintercept.com started asking questions.

Now SOUTHCOM says 11 people were killed.

They call them "narco-terrorists," we call them what they are: "civilians."

Completely lawless to deliberately target civilians at sea.

What kind of country would do such a thing?

Also, do you think CENTCOM talks to SOUTHCOM and JSOC about the boat strikes?
