Anti-government extremists known as "sovereign citizens" are a potential terrorism threat in Australia, according to a confidential police report.

This Episode looks at the Sovereign Citizen movement. While this is most prevalent in the United States, it does also occasionally occur in other countries, most notably Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom although these are hardly the only places this concept pops up. As this is a program looking at the US Constitution, we will mainly be looking at this movement in the United States. What is a Sovereign Citizen? Basically, these individuals have a pseudolegal belief that somehow, they are not subject to the jurisdiction of any Country or State unless they explicitly consent to them.
