While aboard the @Space_Station earlier this year, @Astro_Jeanette captured the perfect shot: a long-exposure photo showcasing streaks of city lights across Western Australia, with swirls of stars glittering above Earth’s golden-red atmosphere

Congratulations Sophie Adenot on your second spacewalk!
You installed a spare communications antenna on the Space_Station Z1 truss and connected the electrical and data systems with extraordinary skill and sang froid.
After six and a half hours outside the International Space Station, our astronaut Sophie Adenot is safely back inside.
With today's EVA, Sophie completes her second spacewalk alongside NASA astronaut Anil Menon.
A true demonstration of teamwork in orbit.

👩🚀 Sophie Adenot is collecting samples from canisters like these, placed outside the International @Space_Station.
🧫 Scientists want to find out whether a spacecraft and its crew release microorganisms and, if so, how many and how far they might travel.
