i think it sucks that online spaces really dont have safe spaces for kids. BUT we need more public spaces for children, especially ones that dont cost money

Also, one more thing: if you're not LGBTQ, you don't get a say on who's welcome in our community. Asexual and aromantic people are sexual minorities. They're always welcome in our spaces. Our spaces are their spaces. Mind your own damn business and get a new hobby.

Spaces for kids have been destroyed or re-worked into stores, adult spaces aren't allowed to be actually "adult" lest we anger the CC companies, and supposedly neutral spaces are full of gambling/porn ads, disinformation, and right-wing pipelines. An internet that is increasingly not for anyone.

Misogyny exists in leftist spaces. Antiblackness exists in leftist spaces. LOTS of pushback when pointing out that antisemitism, too, exists in leftist spaces. Which is itself interesting.
