Experimenting with spanset moves.
Me doing aerial hoop at home. I'm doing a move where I'm inverted in the spanset. One hand is down the hoop, one up the spanset. My legs are in a stag position. In the background you can see my mats, furniture etc.

We did some fun spanset stuff last night and I did actually let go for a bit so I was just hanging there! Next time I’ll go lower maybe 😬

I think I spend more of my life upside down (and spinning) than I do right side up.

Finally beat COVID so back to showcase prep! I wanna work on making things look prettier as I setup this spanset sequence but I’m glad I could do it after being so sick for so long!

Skin killer alternative. It doesn't affect my skin much on the spanset. Normally I wouldn't mind much but it really has to heal bc it's torn off and I still wanna perform these shapes during my performance.

New 🔗⛓️ bullshit, who dis?

Messing around at @twistedwindows.bsky.social Rope Lab

In which Angel hanging from me while I'm self-suspended with chain was way easier than I thought it was going to be...

Also my foot kept catching an adjacent spanset, we were such good friends...

After a really useful intro at Hidden Earth, we were delighted to be contacted by SpanSet with an extremely generous offer of some rope to support our training workshops, plus the offer to use their facilities.

A massive thank you! 😍🤝

The SIZE of those toebeans
A drugged mountain lion sleeping off the effects of a wild night. He is still wearing an orange blindfold, and a spanset that I assume is left over from a bondage session hangs loosely around his thighs. In the foreground, the massive toe beans on his huge paws are visible.

Worked on some really cool things in yesterday’s split-spanset lyra workshop, and am bruised and sore enough today that I’m skipping lyra 1 class tonight. WORTH IT, especially as I’m signed up for lyra 2 on Thursday. #aerials

The only articles coming up that might be recent motorway stinger use are on independent dot ie and paywalled unfortunately. Can't see speed limit mentioned on Stinger site. I will assume my info is very outdated, or it was local policy perhaps where I was.

Saw a video from an insta account that normally shares cute aerial tricks of my nightmare (everyone looked ok tho).
The spanset of this hoop just fucking snapped and dropped the whole thing to the floor. So that's another reminder to not fuck with rigging and always check your stuff I guess 🙃

We had to Google "split-spanset lyra" to understand this post.

PACSCL would hurt itself tremendously if we attempted this. Mass contusions.
