Our AION 2 review now goes beyond the first four hours. We switched to Spiritmaster, reached level 45, and tried Expeditions, field bosses, Nightmare, and the Abyss.

PvE has kept us hooked, but Abyss questing is rough.

I forget, do the holders of a job stone/soul crystal need to pass away for someone else to learn from them? I know that there are "blank" soul crystals like MCH's, but could someone learn spiritmaster if Demi lent them his soul crystal?

Myosotis was a Spiritmaster from a fallen Luxendarc. His discoveries involving the Celestial Realm were ignored in his timeline and he was unable to prevent his world's "heroes" from sending the world into the abyss. He refused to pass on and chose to push his soul into another world to try again.

I don't care for the new Spiritmaster arms... I preferred the little glove sphere from the first game... The summons are cool still though. Linx makes a good dark elf....

It's several things really:
- Extremely cheesable with ninja/spiritmaster
- If you DON'T cheese it, these things override your elemental resistances so they're dealing way more damage than they should
- You have to fight SIX of them back to back

I'd be fine with one bad fight, but six is a lot

i made tiz my primary support character in this bravely default playthrough because i thought making the guy named "'tis a warrior" into the opposite of a warrior was funny. unfortunately i failed to consider that agnes is rocking the spiritmaster outfit

Bravely Default my beloved, I have to wonder if the Swordmaster/Spiritmaster immunity combo from the 3DS release works or if they nerfed that. It was the only way I got past the Salvemaker boss and his poisons.

Have the muscle memory for it. Basically, you level up those two jobs to max on your Slowest Character. Swordmaster has a Free Lunch ability that negates MP costs. Spiritmaster has a "Trade half MP for a Brave." And a "Stalemate for two turns" ability.
