No Treats Today, Duke
—
Another sketch for @adorkastock.com’s #DrawEverythingJune2026 challenge, featuring my trans-masc (but still figuring it out) character Maxi, and a dog who might be named after one I used to know long ago.

A drawing of Maxi, a masculine-leaning androgynous fellow with shaggy but short dark hair, wearing blue jeans, big brown boots, a jacket with a fluffy white collar and lining, and a worn brown toque. At Maxi’s feet is Duke, a small rough collie, looking expectantly and hopefully at his favourite human. There’s the wall of a brown house or building just behind Maxi, and a gesture of grass, trees, and the hilly badlands landscape in the distance.
