Spotify has announced a series of intimate 'Hometown' concerts featuring Jorja Smith, Nemzzz, and Beabadoobee, returning to their hometowns for one-night-only performances in September 2026. The event coincides with the release of new albums by all three artists: Jorja Smith's 'What Are The Odds' (August 21), Nemzzz's 'Locked In' (September 4), and Beabadoobee's 'Pylon' (September 18). The concerts will take place in Walsall (Smith), Manchester (Nemzzz), and London (Beabadoobee), with selected top listeners invited to attend. No public tickets will be sold, but concert films will premiere on Spotify post-gigs. The initiative also includes community-led projects to support young people in the artists' hometowns. Smith, who began her musical journey in Walsall, emphasized the city's role in her creative development. Nemzzz highlighted Manchester's significance to his artistry, while Beabadoobee described London as her creative foundation. The event underscores Spotify's commitment to celebrating artists' roots while promoting their new work. The concerts will be followed by major tours, including Beabadoobee's 'Powerlines' arena tour and Smith's co-headlining All Points East festival with Tems.
