We got through the first 4 seasons of Buffy in about three months and we are about halfway through season 6 six months later. My wife is actually a Spuffy fan but the post-high school storylines *grind* and now Willow is dead to her for being an irresponsible babysitter.

24 years ago, Buffy arranged for Spike to move out of the Sunnydale High basement. Which was fortunate, as this gave him the lucidity to prevent her from blasting Wood to smithereens.

Buffy also imparted a lesson she learned the hard way on Dawn: "No guys is worth your life. Not ever."

text post: While Elysian Fields Archive hosts nearly 8.5k Spuffy stories, it goes without say that we are a much, much smaller archive than AO3. The Pluto to their Jupiter, if you will. Even still, we know from experience that when outages occur, no one is more distressed than the volunteer mods who keep the archive running. Losing AO3 for up to a month is incredibly distressing. The best thing you can do right now is be gracious and kind to everyone working to bring it back. Because in addition to not having access to the work they enjoy, they have your expectations to meet. That’s stressful. stress they take on voluntarily, without compensation. we implore you to show them your love and appreciation by being their hero as they dedicate their time and energy to being yours.

As we approach the anniversary of All the Way, we are once again (and always) mourning the loss of the fist bump that appears in the shooting script.
