I think ultimately a lot of spumco early 2000s cartoon animation fan guys are right about modern animation and it’s shortcomings but almost always squeezed inbetween reasonable critiques is shit like “there’s too many cartoons about brown girls now” which makes discussion near impossible

For a show as dialogue heavy as the Venture Bros they always knew how to do faces. No one is ever just neutral or bored looking. Sgt. Hatred looks like he escaped from a Spumco cartoon.

When it comes to Nicktoons with turbulent productions, everyone rightfully looks at Ren & Stimpy, but let me tell ya', the Spumco writers room didn't revolt and start posting letters to the L.A. Times openly challenging who created the show.
The Rugrats video is gonna be more wild than you'd think.

Construction is still important so don't ask if I hate waffles but spumco dudebros wanking off construction reminds me of when someone doesn't know how 2 give criticism or articulate their points but they still want 2 rip something apart so they're just like "yeah idk your anatomy stinks bro"
