Recent creative happenings has lead me down a y2k nostalgia whirlpool of skater culture and old media from back then. Been back listening to the JSR spundtrack since last night.

Mach Rider i feel like needs no justification. You get it. Its such a tight package. The second it starts it builds momentum with its spundtrack and just kind of keeps pushing you forward. You Are Mach Rider!!

Honestly? the awards were so deserved, I really hope to see game as creative as this one in the AAA space
such a gut wrenching experience with amazing gameplay and spundtrack

Metroid Prime 4 entire existence is validated by that spundtrack, it could be a 2/5 hot garbage but when I hit the defrost in that ice area holy shit I was head banging. So far best Metroid OST since Fusion.

The soundtrack sounds AI generated to cost as little as possible and sounds like the song that come preloaded on an MP3 player. I can't overstate how much of a problem this is, I'm willing to forgive a lot if your skate game spundtrack is good but there's nothing here.
