Havertz, Odegaard, Saka all completely dead. I think the long view is that this season is downstream of squadbuilding overplaying issues from 1, 2, 3 seasons back. Key players looking finished (fitness-wise) at completely the wrong time.

And in the summer we new 2. It has always been one of the quircks of our squadbuilding that all of our wing options are same age and now post prime for wingers.

They certainly look playable. Due to squadbuilding concerns he wants you to bring Leia, which is a shame since the bonus dice auras on both the ewok primaries are now global range and thats very hard to give up haha

PSG are in that weird place of 'suffering from success' wherein they're no longer 'squadbuilding' but trying to 'maintain' a baseline of strength as they can no longer effectively hold onto their elite backups that want more game time having already won the trophies. So it becomes an awkward cycle.

Barcola should be a good addition to a rather thin squad but... he is also a left winger we only have left wingers. Why was he the priority? Ngumoha is a left winger surely thats the long term plan even if we sell Gakpo, Munoz is a left winger. Not sure about this squadbuilding #LFC

Doesn’t look like anyone is coming in. Although I like Schade, it does feel a bit like desperation rather than planned squadbuilding. And not the ceiling-raiser we were expecting

I would have much preferred an overlapping right back for squadbuilding reasons, i.e. not blocking Mosquera and having an overlapping option when White is out (or gone), but now that we bought him, I'll ofc be rooting for Konsa and I'm glad we brought someone in!

not having lost any characters so far in our crisis protocol campaign is nice, but it sure has put me in an awkward spot when squadbuilding for today, since I can't sub in a character at a useful threat value.
looks like there is a real chance I'll end up playing a 'least bad option' squad today...

the issue historically with awfc squadbuilding is that we've seen lots of churn in the second/third choice rotation players with limited breakthrough into the first team which has led to this perception that the team's going stale (even if i'd argue that 2-3 new starters per season is perfectly OK)

- russo, with stina as rotation, up top is great. and i'd argue the pathway is there for agyemang
- and then in the midfield? for me it is squadbuilding that's the problem here but i don't think it's controversial that your club captain and BdO runner up play most of the available minutes
