Just acquired a OG Squarp Hermod sequencer module, looking forward to just having like, regular notes in the modular. Western notes. Regular western notes.

Back at the synth rig today. The hydrasynth handles MPE and in fact does polyphonic aftertouch so I spent some time setting up how the squarp handles MPE input so I can use it to control my non-MPE stuff... the Protein can do MPE but over MIDI DIN it's hard to ALSO do the polytimbral channel splits

(少なくとも自分が作る)テクノはリカーシブな要素がないといけないと同時にエトーナルな音域が必要だからSquarpみたいなLiveのシーケンサーみたいなフォーマットは別に求められていない

Squarpは音階的なシーケンスとか自由度の高いオートメーションは圧倒的に強いけどテクノを作るとなるとステップ単位でオートメーションしたりCVをアナログで調整することが多くなるからとたんに使いづらいんだよな

It is. Everything is very easy once you try it a few times. I'm tempted to get squarp hapax for sequencing though. I think I need something more visual in my old age. And if I go anywhere near my computer I'm too easily distracted.
