fwiw squeenix have put out a statement saying they know crucible is kinda borked atm so it'll hopefully be tweaked for the better soon

I think most people didn't know it was out due to how little squeenix advertised it.
That or they saw the clip of the Limp Biscuit ringtone and made the final decision right there. XD

Though I have to say, I didn’t find the change jarring. I never once assumed Squeenix was going to make a new FF7 be turn-based, especially after FF15.
