P6/7 got our hands dirty this afternoon, investigating the eating habits of medieval castle dwellers in an unusual way. We were surprised to learn that many of the things we eat today were also on the menu hundreds and thousands of years ago! #StAidansIDL

🇧🇷 P3 have had a great time exploring Brazil this week as part of our topic! We learned about Brazilian culture and the vibrant Carnival celebrations. We had so much fun creating colourful headdresses using different textiles, and even learned some Samba moves! 💃

After learning about castle defences and the weapons used against them, P6/7 had a go at creating their own trebuchets! We learned about counterweight and propulsion, and tinkered with our final designs to see who could make their boulder (tinfoil) travel furthest! #StAidansSTEM #StAidansIDL #SSERC
