honestly, wasn't expecting much from remco at TOB. it's kinda traditionally become his build up training stagerace between TDF and the championship fall w/ worlds lombardia etc

something for the cx folks, lotto just posted on twitter that toon aerts will start at tour of norway for them. his very first race was rund um koln couple weeks ago, this'll be the first stagerace in lotto shirt for him

also does mikkel bjerg just not understand one day races anymore? this isn't a GT or stagerace, if visma & alpecin fully sit up and wait on his royal highness pogacar to be "fair", they're also letting back all the other favourites who get a second chance by drafting w/ UAE towing back pog

TOTA might have been the best stagerace of the season so far in terms of stories and bizarre racesituations. they wound up storer like one of them toys with a gear and he went from day 1 to day 5 going brrrrrrrr

jorgenson is still relatively young so i'm hoping next year at a stagerace or GT he's the team leader against pogacar. the ratings and tv viewer numbers would skyrocket

everyone who is not keen on manifesting him out of cycling (or at least stageraces & GTs) saw that conclusion immediately, especially after UAE tour which was probably one of his worst (non-injured&prepared) stagerace performances ever

it's actually insane the difference between stagerace/GT remco and oneday remco. i know he has GC dreams and i want him to keep pursuing it as a career goal but lord does he have so much more fun during onedays 😭 it's so obvious

matisse (visma dev) won the u23 race
seff (decathlon u19) won the juniors race
matisse is more of climby oneday/stagerace guy with focus on stage victories than pure GC, seff is training towards actual full GC racing

i think after the UAE tour "scare" w/ questions about overloading a schedule i think it's fine to skip fleche. he's already done mallorca week onedays, valencia stagerace, uae tour, catalunya stagerace AND a surprise RVV
