Fulbright funding was not much, but it was crucial to being able to take trips to archives, to pay my rent, to eat—to live—while I was doing my research. I cannot imagine what I would have done if I got an email saying I suddenly wouldn’t get my funding in the middle of the year. #StandForFulbright

We joked about being called “cultural ambassadors” while we were over there, but it’s true. The ETAs and researcher living and working abroad on the Fulbright are presenting some of the best of parts of what the States can be to the people in the countries where they live. #StandForFulbright
