From summer a few years back - stone circle, Penmaenmawr. An absolutely stunning clifftop location! Quite a walk from where you park your car (about half an hour) but well worth it.

Paper alert!! We used OSL dating to establish the age of the foundation of the mound supporting two monumental #StandingStones at Hagbard's Galge in southern #Sweden. Dating to 1400-1200 BCE, the mound appears to be slightly older than previously thought...🙂

Happy #TombTuesday from Lligwy Burial Chamber on Anglesey

It consists of a circle of upright stones, made into a low chamber by a roof slab estimated to weigh around 25 tonnes.

Excavation in 1909 found the remains of around 30 people.
