Daytime street scene in a large city, facing a busy intersection with an orange steam funnel in its center, billowing big clouds of steam into the air; this borough of the city very much runs on steam; when it is cold, the steam becomes a hazard for commuters to see where they are on the street, so they put up these giant orange pipes called "steam funnels" to divert the ventilating steam away from the street; cyclists, pedestrians, and taxi cabs attack the intersection en route to the next one; there is a variety of mid-rise and high-rise buildings, many covered in scaffolding and "sidewalk sheds"; the sky in the distance is mostly clear and sunny.

#AliceInWonderland #WoodenTrain details: #MadHatter #MarchHare & #Doormouse. Hare & Doormouse = scraps of canvas, painted facial details. Hare's whiskers = bits of thread. Used #miniature ceramic teapot; glued lid to side. Fabric tablecloth, teapot acts as #SteamFunnel (to Doormouse's distress!).

I used a sweet #miniature ceramic teapot ~ glued lid to the side so The Doormouse has his home. The #woodentrain body has a fabric tablecloth & the teapot acts as #SteamFunnel (much to Doormouse's distress!).

(Have to do another post for detail photos.)
