U ever heard of “authoritarian disposition" theory by Karen Stenner. Meloni belongs 2 this, it's not simply being right-wing but more about submission to authority, conformity, rigid traditionalism, & aggression toward perceived outsiders or dissenters. They think only way 2 rule is brute force

Not cover to cover, I've just skimmed bits/got her thesis from interviews with her.
I have an appropriate level of cringeing respect for Karen Stenner, but my personal reckon is the lib-auth axis is about more fundamental cogpsych differences (maybe which Kahnemann mode you find natural).
