I found this old, dried up Crowded Parchment Fungus while hiking with my cousin. The right half of the photo is a section of dark, hardwood tree trunk, and the trunk is oversee in what almost looks like think flakes of rust. In reality, this is the shriveled fungus. The left side of the photo is detritus covered forest floor that is full of leaves, pine needles, and a chunk of wood. #photography #MycologyMonday #macromonday #FungiPhotography #WildMushrooms #crowdedparchment #Stereumcomplicatum #mushrooms #TexasNature #macrophotography #nature #outdoors #wildlife #naturephotography #outdoorphotography #wildlifephotography #photographersofbluesky
