A lovely walk in Ropner Park this morning. Ring Necked Parakeets, Pintail and three Nuthatch took our total for the year so far to 85 Then we got Little Owl near Stokesley making it 86. @teesbirds.bsky.social @nybirdnews.bsky.social

At this time of year, I always listen to the 12" extended version of Driving Home for Christmas by Chris Rea.
I particularly enjoy the part where he leaves the A19 for the A172 to Stokesley to call at Great Ayton for some Petch's pies.
