Lawrie first played for Stoneygate, but made his Tigers debut as a 19 year-old at Plymouth Albion in November 1907. He was the club’s leading try scorer for six consecutive seasons between 1908 and 1914.

His final Tigers game was at Bath in April 1924, and he rejoined Stoneygate. He was a lieutenant in the Royal Artillery during the First World War, and later served on the Leicester committee for 29 years until his death.

Well In a council byelection in Leicester last week the Greens gained Stoneygate ward off Labour, so my guess is that it isn't a problem.
