On the road yesterday during the worst of the rain...and managed to take the wrong direction on the N7, ending up in Laois at one point 🤦♂️
Going to be wild here in Waterford today due to #StormAmy, particularly whilst I'm on the road doing the school pickups 😬

Another casualty of #StormAmy as I go upstairs to hang up the laundry and find that SOMEBODY ignored BOTH litter trays AND all the easily cleaned surfaces and pissed and shat on my woven indoor/outdoor rug

We are currently facing stress on the power grid (lights flickering, etc) due to Storm Amy. The power may go out and systems may shut down. As a precaution, some services have already been disabled.

Evolution of #StormAmy from 18 UTC 1 October through 12 UTC 4 October per Met Office analyses. The initial disturbance was perfectly phased with a wave in the jet, undergoing explosive cyclogenesis & evolving into a powerful Shapiro–Keyser cyclone, setting low pressure records for the time of year.
