I think you meant to say "Would steeply cut public safety, education, roads, stormwater & flood control, parks, public & children's health, mosquito control, trash & recycling...and everything Republicans want but don't want to pay for because they are freeloaders."

Areas like this will have problems this winter, where stormwater runner meets elevated tides in San Francisco Bay.

When I think about "pedestrian hostile", I think about this Publix parking lot. There's no sidewalk access, except for this one spot that lines up directly with the crosswalk.

If you look closely, they've barricaded it AND hung signs that say "stormwater infrastructure, no pedestrians"

You can't build on wetlands in New Jersey, we have some of the strictest regulations in the country. New construction has to capture all stormwater on site and meet quality standards for gradual release. And Snyder's Farm is not up for development. <sigh>

Leave your leaves on the ground.

If you are that desperate for something to do: clear them off your sidewalk and do what you can to keep fallen leaves from clogging stormwater drains.

Remember: wet leaves can be slippery and a hazard to sidewalk users.

But your yard will appreciate the compost 💙
