The Story County Board of Supervisors approved Resolution #27-22 to award the Hickory Grove Beach Improvements Project to Caliber Concrete, LLC for $1,344,146 and authorized the acting conservation director to sign the construction contract.

The board approved Resolution 27-02 to conserve approximately 35 acres commonly known as Assam Sedge Prairie in Lafayette Township, using donation funds and a payment structure managed through the Outdoor Alliance of Story County; staff said the site is a rare remnant sedge meadow.
