One thing that may be relevant is that there are multiple definitions of trad out there. It sounds like you're using the definition of it being storyfocused (iconic; Dragonlance), while @vortiwife.neocities.org may just mean traditional as the plain language word.

personally, I think this is a case by case thing because some games obviously put more aspects of the storytelling into the gameplay, which is something a viewer could miss out on. but if it's just like a heavily storyfocused game with dogshit nonexistent gameplay, who gaf.
