I can have cherries! But no multiseeded berries (straw, rasp, black, etc). I do get hives, very itchy, feel like I instantly got a severe flu or something.

And right? They used to be my fave. Evil strawberies. What a dumb name. Dumb!!

Now, imagine kids using this and they’re turning in their papers on “fruit” to include apples, oranges, and *STRAWBERIES* 🤦🏽‍♂️

And next, imagine them arguing you down because “CHAT GPT SAID IT WAS ONLY ONE!” 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

I really like strawberies😭

Of course. I mentioned oranges because it’s an easy example. Either you import or you can’t find them or they are too expensive. But trying ro buy local and whats in season helps. We dont grow strawberies most of the year. I don’t buy any outside april-june. Freeze a few for Winter and make jam.

I'm deciding upon which one for by kitchen window bed when I finally lift the strawberies

Maybe a new dawn (old favourite) or something really vibrant like the valencia - I may get a 2nd one of them as massive yellow blooms

there's a white one behind this camelia

I live in a historic house where I work, so (alas) no pets. But the site's fearless groundhog was out and about.

Unusually at this time of year I've still got strawberies ripening at the same time I'm picking blackberries. An extra bunny bonus!
The figs giving it a good go but the tiny fruits won't ripen this year so they'll all be popped off!
Appreciate the large canopy for shade in sun & shelter in rain💚😁🍃.

Right, tiny bedding plants are in. lettuce and strawberies, check.
Tomatoes are going great guns.
It's been realy dry so no slugs and snails so far.
Now the rain has arrived and I have tried the Flour, sugar and yeast slug traps.
Blimey! I won't post pictures cos it is quite grim. They work.
