A costumed figure runs along a damp street during a bustling winter festival. His clothing is a layered patchwork of frayed fabrics in muted browns and greens. Torn trousers bunch at the knees, and a tattered coat hangs unevenly from his frame. Straw and reeds are tied around his boots and ankles, flaring with each stride. His face is painted pale with darkened creases that deepen his gaunt, expressive features, and long, disordered hair spills from beneath a battered hat adorned with leaves, twigs, and small feathers. He grips two messy bundles of green branches and thin sticks, clutched close as he moves. Behind him, storefronts painted in warm reds, yellows, greens, and purples create a bright backdrop. Winter greenery and wreaths hang above doors and windows, framing the crowd of bundled onlookers who blur into the background. The scene feels cold, bustling, and celebratory, capturing the folkloric energy of Wren Day in motion.
